Resume Critique Private consultation to review and discuss previously written résumé, providing suggested changes to content, format, and strategy. Session will include interview by consultant to clarify message, target audience, and market-readiness. Clients will have necessary information to make changes independently based on feedback.
Resume Development (up to 4 sessions) Private Training & Strategy Session to introduce the concept of Market Driven Resumes. Consultation to review completed Market Readiness Worksheet completed by client. Consultation session to review draft resume created by consultant. Consultation to finalize resume created by consultant. Client will be provided one PDF file and one text file of the completed resume.
Personal Brand Messaging (1 session) Private Training & Strategy Session to develop clear brand & market-readiness communication message. Session deliverables include the development of the Departure Announcement (aka Exit Statement) as well as the Networking Introduction (aka Professional Commercial).
Market-Readiness (2 sessions) Private Training & Strategy Session to Introduce the “Market-Readiness Search Profile (MRSP)”. (An effective tool to improve search strategy & productivity, as well as increase networking effectiveness.) Follow on consultation session will include a review of the completed MRSP including a list of targeted organizations.
Written Brand Messaging (1 session) Private Consultation Strategy session to discuss the range of campaign correspondence including letters (i.e. cover, networking & pitch, follow-up, search firm, etc.), web forms, applications, and email. Samples are provided in MS Word format.
Networking Effectiveness (1 session) Training & Strategy session will include the development of Networking Meeting Agendas & Scripts (i.e. social, face-to-face, telephone, and hiring authorities), as well as the art of “Professional Small Talk.” Samples are provided in MS Word format.
Productivity Results-Driven Strategies (1 session) Private Training & Strategy session on effective search strategies including on-line networking sites, web-sites, job boards, and executive search firms. (Included in this package is the downloadable “Productivity Tools Package which includes templates of tracking tools and weekly activity chart.)
Interview Strategy and Messaging Readiness (1 90 minute session) Private Training & Strategy Session on effective interview preparation (3-Steps (Needs, Resume, and Challenges), Examples (S.T.A.R.), and Logistics. This session will also include a discussion of different types of interviews (i.e. panel, behavioral, case, telephone, screening, demonstration, and exceptional interviews). Included in this package is the downloadable “Interviewing Readiness” booklet. Developing Your On-Line Presence (1 90-minute session) Training and strategy session on using Web 2.0 applications to develop your on-line ‘brand.” Discussions will include: Twitter; Facebook; Personal Websites, LinkedIn, and Blogs. Included in this package is a follow up review / critique of one social media profile.
Offer Evaluation & Salary Negotiation (2 sessions) First Session: Prior to an Offer: Private Training & Strategy Session on determining fair market value expectations; evaluating employment opportunities and offers from a financial, professional, and personal perspective; and preparing strategies for responding to salary inquiries. The client will learn the negotiation process and strategies to develop a viable counter-offer. Second Session: Private strategy session to develop and script the counter offer once the offer is received.
